Repère is an independent editorial publication founded in 2026, devoted to the sports betting operators authorised to trade in France.

Why we exist
The French sports betting market is governed by Law No. 2010-476 of 12 May 2010 and supervised by the ANJ. Only operators holding a currently valid licence may offer online sports betting to French residents. Yet the information remains scattered across administrative decisions, regulatory texts and commercial communications.
Repère was founded in 2026 to gather that information in one place, in plain language, and to tie it systematically back to its official source. We ask nobody to take our word for it: every licence number we publish is accompanied by a link to the corresponding decision.
How we verify a licence
We start from the public register of licensed operators maintained by the ANJ, then locate the corresponding licensing or renewal decision in the Journal officiel. From it we record four elements: the exact licence number, the name of the holding company, the authorised scope and the effective date.
An online sports betting licence runs for five years. We calculate the expiry from the effective date stated in the decision, and we revisit each review whenever a renewal is published.
How we are funded
Repère is funded through commercial links. When a reader opens an operator link from our pages, we may receive a fee from that operator or its intermediary. This costs you nothing extra.
The model is disclosed openly on every affected page and set out in full in our Disclosure page. No operator can buy a rating, a rank or the removal of a criticism. Our rating framework is published, identical for all, and our conclusions remain open to revision on factual grounds at any time.
What we do not do
We offer no betting and accept no stakes. Repère is not an operator and holds no ANJ licence, because our activity is purely editorial.
We publish no tips, no selections, no staking systems and no promises of return. We host no unmoderated third-party content, no forum and no open comment section. We never target anyone under 18, nor anyone listed on the national self-exclusion register.
Corrections
A factual error identified on our pages is corrected as soon as it is confirmed, and the editorial update date is amended accordingly. If you spot an inaccuracy in a licence number, an expiry date or a commercial condition, write to us through the Contact page: we check, then we correct.
